This is me panning for gold in the forest outside of Red Lodge, Montana. I did find gold - a few specks - you'll notice that I did not quit my day job! But after finding those specks I did manage to find time to pan for gold each day for the remainder of the trip.

Two weeks after we left this area was consumed by the "Willie Fire."
