After several years of stagnation I've decided to update my web page. So lets start with a tour of my aviary. And I let go stagnate again.
Here is the view from my stairs.
My three pairs of Eclectus are in the large napolean topped cages. Over
to the left is the lonely brooder waiting for the first baby. The smaller
cages on the right hold three of the five unpaired Eclectus.Peeking from
the corner of the picture is my recovering plucked Elenora.
Some of my friends during out time.
Molly the plucked female in front was a rescue and is my only bird that
still plucks. I have two other that are still chewing or clipping their
feathers but both of them seem to be slowing down. The two other Eclectus
on the cage are George and Gracie. They were a pair until the home wrecker
Ricky in the backround came on the scene. Ricky is an adoption from the
Greater Chicago Caged Bird adoption program. Well after he won the favors
of Gracie his former owner decided to give me his former mate Lucy. A soon
as his old flame showed up fickle Ricky dumped Gracie. I'm now trying to
place George and Gracie back together. By the way my favorite of my large
birds is Gracie.

No, I don't think I'm a genius, just poking fun at those who think I'm a computer genius. I'm just a hard working schnuck trying to get the job done. Sometimes just like the coyote my best laid plans end up falling down on my head.

art. This is an example of art from one of my favorite artists Larry Elmore.
